Hi. If you like steak, CHE steakhouse on the ground floor of the Plaza is very good.

Depends on how many restaurants are open  A lot of restaurants close during the first few months of the year. Others only open a few evenings a week.

You are better waiting to see what restaurants are actually open on the night you want to visit.

There’ll still be restaurants to choose from, but nearly all restaurants  across the entire  area, change their  opening hours  during the cooler months.

On another note since the 16th January supermarkets & most other shops in our area ( Valencia) are closed on Sundays, until a few Sundays before during & after Easter in April then again until June.

Hi Rick,

there are not many in the Plaza that I use now, i'd recommend The Copper Chimney for Indian.

Just down the road from VM Plaza, In Los Dolses Rioja Centre I'd highly recommend Quisine (british/international) and O'Sole Mio (Italian). Also worth a visit are Gran China and  Miss Asia (both Chinese/Thai food) and Mateos (Italian).

I've been to all of the above and enjoyed the food. O'Sole Mio is closed at the moment, open again from tomorrow.

They are about a 10 minute walk from the Plaza.

Aitch.

Don't miss out DeBassus, good food at reasonable prices next to AP7 access. A bit off Alingui Castle (near San Miguel de Salinas) with a beautiful scenery and a huge menu for unbeatable 8,90. Shop at "Iceland" in Torrevieja. So much more to discover, I started in 1964 and scrapped the return ticket.
