AAHH, now I know where I recognise your face from Jim, you were a body double for Arnold Schwarzenegger on the Terminator movies :-)

Really? We keep buying water but would be very happy to use tap water but didn’t know it was safe to use!

Hi does anyone know if we can get bottled water delivered?. I have registered on the Mercadona delivery but they don’t do water.

Any suggestions would be great as we don’t have a car at the moment so difficult to get

Mercadona may not deliver just water but we do online delivery before we arrive in Spain which includes water and they’ve always delivered it!

Hi

I like you got sick of lugging 6ltr bottles of water home.

I have had a water filter system installed. Its great drink straight from tap if you want. Or i fill bottle from tap and put in fridge.

Mine cost €180 to supply and fit. I used Aqualyze 681 315 659.

My friend got hers from Leroy Merlin and her son put it in. Said really easy to do yourself.

As there are only 2 of us we need filtres changed once a year.

Best money ive spent.

Regards Cathie

Ive done my usual online Mercadona order including lots of water for Monday so they do definitely still deliver water.

I would point out that the original poster hasn't thanked anyone or clicked This is helpful on any of our posts, so I suggest we stop trying to help her - we're obviously all wasting our time.

Maybe they haven’t been on line. I sometimes don’t see stuff for ages, so I don’t mind at all. I find everyone on here to be kind and helpful and I’m grateful for all the help I’ve had over the past year!

Why not invest in a water filter? We have had one for 14 years now and wouldn't dream of lugging big bottles of water into our house.

Is this a jug type of water filter or do you have something more permanent/sophisticated? is it safe to fill the kettle from the tap and use the boiled water for hot drinks or cooled again for drinking? And finally, is the tap water safe for cooking e.g. boiling vegetables on the stove?

Water is perfectly safe drinking cold straight from tap tested to same standard as UK
