Hi guys, can anyone recommend a company that helps British citizens apply for a non-lucrative visa please?  All the companies that I've looked at seem to charge rather a lot!  Thanks :-)

To apply for a non lucrative visa you have to be living in the UK. You cannot apply for a visa while you are living in Spain. You cannot use a representative to apply on your behalf.

You will need to prove that you have the income and healthcare requirements amongst a couple of other documents.

I am doing mine through an office in Villamartin cost €150 because they take you to where ever they can get an appointment  and at the moment there are no appointments.

That surely can't be for applying for a non lucrative visa as you have to apply to the Spanish consulate in the UK. You have to apply in person as you cannot use a representative.

Yes if you are coming from the UK you have to make an appointment with the Spanish Consulate. I lived in Rugby Warwickshire and London would of been nearer to me but they made me go to Manchester. The visa cost me £525 at the consulate but you also have to make sure you have all the paper work they require. Everything has to be translated notarised and apostilled.  I spent an awful lot of money on paperwork to come to Spain. Once you get the visa it only last three months so you have to make sure once in Spain that you get an appointment for your Padron then your residency. I came to Spain in July this year and I have now done everything except my residency which I am still awaiting an appointment for. Getting my residency is going to cost me €150 . Best of luck

I applied and got my non lucrative visa in Manchester UK and that lasts for three months the cost of the visa was £525.

I have now less than three months to get my residency and there are no appointments. I am not sure whether I would have to start all over again if I can't get an appointment.
