Thanks for your help and advice 'regarding removals and is very true when you say you get what you pay for. Our Finca is about a 20 minute walk from the village centre of Las Vertudes so is quite rural. We had a girls lunch with Michelle, Marina and another lady whose name escapes me and when my partner Steve went over in June he met Dean aswell.  Can't wait to move there 😎

We have chatted to Dean and Michelle but not met them yet as we ran out of time when we were over last month. We to can't wait to be out there full time, we should have been out there now but things went pear shape with our uk house sale.

We too have been held up with the sale of our barge! We're going over to our place in August for a couple of weeks and all being well will make a permanent move September/October time.

Hi Karen

How are you getting on? Managed to make the move yet or have you still been held up. I know the feeling as we were delayed due to the sale of our house in the UK. We finally arrived for good last week - today is a 'week anniversary!'

Hi Mike and Lianne, just seen your message, we know Karen and Steve are here in next few weeks, it would be great if we can all meet up

We are in bar now in Las Virtudes with about 15 Spanish and 20 Brits and really good atmosphere, but going in 10 minutes , the life here is absolutely brilliant, you forget crappy days but you look up at the sun it's 30c and you call family in Uk and it's 10c and pouring down .

Hope to see you all soon

Dean and Michelle 👍😆

Hi Liane and Mike,

Ferry booked for 29th October - woohoo, at last we have a solid date and will arrive on Halloween.....scary!! It's a 24 hour journey on the ferry but then only 7 hours driving from Santander. Can't wait. Look forward to meeting up and to seeing Dean and Michelle again. Happy days ahead,

Karen and Steve

P.S. Happy 1st week anniversary.

Hi there, we arrived in September, had a few issues to deal with!  We live just outside Las Virtudes, probably a 10 min walk. We are a couple in our late 40’s like to socialise but so far have met not anyone in this area. To be fair we haven’t been out to socialise due to Covid! Would love to meet up,with you both if you are interested?
