Hi Anne. I'm moving to villena in June 😁 could you tell me where I might find a decent bed shop. And perhaps a pool guy. Thanks

Hi Carol,

I too am still looking for someone regarding the pool (not general upkeep) so I can’t help you there, but regarding beds, I can highly recommend someone.

Pedro has a shop called Skandal in what is called the furniture mile going into Yecla.

Yecla lies in Murcia and for the moment we cannot cross the Alicante-Murcia border, but this should be open by the time you get here. Most people in Yecla work in the furniture industry.

This guy was of tremendous help when I first bought my house and I desperately needed a mattress and all shops & factories were closing for the summer holidays. He went above & beyond to get me what I needed and has done ever since. He has even fitted a new kitchen for me and charged a third of the estimates I had from other suppliers.

If you want me to come along with you, I will be more than happy to do so. I’m on the Villena-Yecla road (CV-81) so I’m not far at all.

Janice

Hi

Agree with Janice ,must be 10-15 bed shops.

Lease be aware that they now have reduced stock due to covid and it might be a week before they can deliver.
