PCR tests to travel to UK
Hi there,
If a non-resident Brit has to return to the UK, where can he get a PCR test in this area (Villena) to be able to board a plane. I see some pharmacies are doing these tests in other towns.
Thank you,
Janice

Just to let anyone know that may be in the same predicament, we found the Centro Medico Delfos in Villena and were able to have the PCR test done satisfactorily.
I too was wondering the same thing
Where can we get a test fine locally appreciate your replying are there any others?

Hi Dawn,
It was a bit hit and miss trying to book as I obviously needed the clinic’s confirmation that the test would go ahead and they didn’t answer my e-mails. But I eventually spoke to someone there who gave me the properly timed appointment for my partner. All went well, I paid €100.
I have seen that others have paid just €30 or €40 in their local pharmacies but I didn’t find a pharmacy in Villena who could give us the test and certificate.
By the way, the U.K. Government website states that the certificate must carry the passport number and date of birth. I had to ask them to modify the Result Report to include these details as I knew we’d have problems with the controls at the U.K. airport.
Take care xx
