Hi if you search the forum there’s plenty of good advice, however here’s a link that tells you everything about travelling to Spain and returning back to the U.K. I suggest you keep checking the website,as things can change with regards to travel.

Hi Amanda,

For entry to Spain, you need to provide proof of double-vaccination and complete the Spanish health form:

https://www.spth.gob.es/

For return to the UK, you need proof of double-vaccination, a negative Antigen or PCR test no more than 72 hours before departing Spain, complete the Passenger Locator Form and pre-purchase of a Day 2 PCR test, the reference number for which needs to be added to the Locator Form before you leave Spain:

https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk

I´d highly recommend bookmarking the link that Anne has provided for you, as that means you´ll be able to easily check for any changes to the information before you travel.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Amanda,

You can do that - other members have recommended companies in the UK from which you can order them and bring them with you (you're not allowed to use the free ones from the NHS).

Alternatively, you can book one in Spain - I've seen recommendations by other members for the IMED hospital in Gandia:

https://testcoronavirus.imedhospitales.com/inicio?lg=3

Although, given your location, you may be able to find one closer.

Kind regards,

Kim

Am I right in understanding you can’t just go to a chemist and get it done?

Hi Amanda,

Some pharmacies do the tests, but you have to pre-book and the popular ones are booked up weeks in advance - you'd need to check with the pharmacies in your area.

Kind regards,

Kim

Also I just can’t find the Spain locator form? It’s not on the gov website so if possibly could someone pop a link please thank you so much everyone got your help

Hi Amanda,

I gave you the link to the Spanish health form in my first reply - here it is again:

https://www.spth.gob.es/

If you read the section on general information, it says,

"You must complete the entire Form from the website or the app, and from 48 HOURS before the flight you can send the form to the health authorities. Once sent you will receive an email with a QR Code that will allow you to access the destination airport. You must have it printed or on your mobile phone."

This suggests to me that you can complete the form at any time, but you can't submit it more than 48 hours before you fly.

Kind regards,

Kim
