We are an old/ but young in Spirit, couple,we attend a wonderfull Spanish church in Elche, Praise and worship fantastic and the Preacher is one of the best that we have heard in over 40yrs.

Anyone wanting to learn Spanish from the locals in a Spanish church ,and hear Sound biblical Teaching, and have a chat over a cup of coffee, then let us know for more info. perhaps we could meet up.

Does anybody know what is going on with Correos and their charges for "delivery and handling"?

It is my understanding that Spain is a member of The Universal Postal Union. This is a membership of 192+ countries that agree to process each others post within their countries.  i.e. free.

Not only are they in breach of this agreement but are they therefore liable for recompense under EU law.

I for one am fed up with being charged for a service which should be free in reciprocation of the service Spain receives from other countries.  As these charges seem specific to mail and parcels received from the UK even those which are covered by a customs duty paid declaration, I wonder where this has been agreed and when?

If anyone can add clarification to this I would be most appreciative as I am about to write to the EU to get further information.
