Hi All,

We were in Alicante today, got to the bus station and up to the shopping centre engles and around that area, the centre was all designer so we looked at mango and zara which didnt have much, was hoping for some nice Spanish boutiques, did we take a wrong turn, is there anywhere nice to shop in the city, a gem of a street with lovely Spanish shops with nice jumpers and dresses, shoes, resturants etc.

Thank you.

Brigette

Try the streets around Calle San Francisco (with the mushrooms!).

Go to Calle Gerona, (also near San Francisco). Most of the clothes shops nearby are quite high end/original Spanish, and there are lots of shoe shops.

Thanks Simon, I will check it out Friday, I have come across some nice Spanish fashion, great quality, different but at reasonable price, hopefully will come across this on Friday

We call it mushroom street my wife and daughter love it, they love the bags and matching purses, you would never find them back in the UK, also finish off with a menu of the day opposite the marina 7.50 euros 3 course 👌 enjoy !!!
