Sailing Association Mar Menor
The Sailing Association Mar Menor (SAMM) was formed in 2006 to help sailors of all levels of experience to understand the rules and procedures of registering and operating boats in Spain and provide opportunities for our members to form groups to share their particular boating or sailing interests. We are based in Los Alcazares on the Mar Menor, Europe’s largest salt water lagoon, but our members live and sail along the Costa Calida and Costa Blanca. We have groups for larger cruising yachts, 18ft and 22ft ‘day sailers’, dinghies and a motorboat group. SAMM also has an active Social Calendar and Race Programme, and welcomes non-members of all nationalities, both Spanish residents and local holiday home owners, to learn more about us.
