Thank you so much for this information, it has been so useful.  Would you recommend any particular bar/pub?  My husband loves his craft beers, pretty much doubt there will be any but it would be a lovely surprise if I could take him to one.

Cafe Almoradi sells real ale. Its on Calle Mayor down near the Health Clinic.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I am coming out 7th to 28th July and then hope to have a long term rent as from end of Oct.  So then I will see both

summer and winter months in Almoradi.  I don't intend driving to start with so will be reliant on a bus route to get around.

Thanks

Chris

I am buying a property in Almoradi and would really appreciate some information on the following.

Is there a direct bus to the beach?  If so, how long does it take and how often are they?

What is the centre like? pubs. shops etc.

What is the crime rate like?  I believe it has gone up in some towns and villages.

What is it like out of season?

I would really be grateful for nay information you may have.  Please send ASAP.

there is a british owned bar on calle mayor near the church called  THE BULL,  EL TORO. it is very friendly and does all your usual meals, including a delicious sunday lunch. the prices are very reasonable, hope to see you there.

Is there a festival starting around 28th July in Almoradi I have heard?

I fly home that day but might look to extend by a few days if I can

I have been badly let down by the host with Airbnb and now have nowhere to stay if I fly out on these dates!  Only just received a message today so not impressed at all

Please let me know

Thanks

Chris

That's awful Chrissie! Sorry, my place won't be free until 22nd July.

Are you coming out alone?
