Altea la Vieja (Vella) is a village about 2 miles inland from the centre of Altea. It's located on the CV755.

Mascarat is a lovely port/Marina about a mile to the north of altea. There is a mas y mas supermarket  on the main road N332 above Mascarat but not many traditional shops in Mascarat, you would be using the car all the time.

If you love Altea I'd be inclined to buy in the town itself.

Altea Hills is an urbanisation on the N332 about 2 miles north of Altea, shortly before you reach the exits for the marinas at Greenwich and Mascarat. it has a mixture of property and as the name suggests, built into the hills on the north side of the 332. Regarded as "upmarket". I'm not aware of whether a bus runs to and from town though.

This is very helpful and I’m so glad I asked.

Million thanks
