I have had my first vaccination and getting second in may will I be able to travel to my house in Spain with just my vaccination card to show I've had them or will I still be expected to do a covid test? Everything so confusing 😖

Who knows, our daughter is having hers in the UK on Friday which means she'll have her second one end of May. She has flights booked for a while now for mid June and September to come out and see us.

It can't do anything but increase your chances of travelling and reports in the media suggest our political leaders are looking at this.

Fingers crossed :)

Until the EU, including Spain, get their act together and start upping the rates of vaccination then travel to Europe will be unlikely to recommence, with or without a test. Let's hope they see sense with the AstraZeneca vaccine given the statistics that are coming out of the UK showing how effective it is proving for the older age groups.

Can I suggest that you keep an eye on the N332 Facebook page which has been keeping us up to date with the rules and regulations regarding this virus since last March.   The page, and their website that deals with anything to do with driving in Spain, is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.

At the present rate of roll out projections are Jan 2022 before the target PM Sanchez said had to be achieved before Spain would be open to tourists.

Oh no I really hope not. I was hoping autumn this year. No thought I'd consideration for second home owners who need to check/maintain their properties even though we help keep the economy afloat. Seriously considering selling up as it's becoming more of a worry than a pleasure to own a property abroad now

I don't think Spain will miss your pension..

There are companies, individuals who will check on your 2nd house, collect the post, etc.. when you cannot do it.  Another way you can support the Spanish GDP..

At the moment you’re not allowed to travel in the UK. It’s not just the Spanish end that’s a problem for you.

Vaccination does not stop Covid it prevents some of lung problems if caught. Its the damage to lungs that are the main concern.

Within 3 weeks of vaccine can still be infected and be a carrier.  There is no freedom ticket to travel yet as much as we all got excited before xmas about the vaccine. Scientists want to completely eradicate the virus may take years.  Can download certificate to prove have had vaccine not sure where could be the gva.es.

Had AZ vaccine on Wednesday, some side effects be warned tinnitus, rushing in ears, aching and high pulse rate. Would suggest a oximeter to keep an eye on levels and visit clinic if pulse rate gets too high, Mine went upto 106  took ibuprofen and it came down by the evening and I felt much better. Some chills although could be the weather.

Fatigue and malaise have set in.  Not sure will get 2nd shot.
