Have you considered wearing a visor?  I would not like to be on the plane with you if you were not wearing a face covering you could be one of these people with asymptomatic  covid 19 and spread it throughout the plane!  I am so sorry for your condition but feel you must comply or ...

...stay at home

Good health

Mary

Visors are absolutely useless in stopping the spread of Covid as all the airborne particles escape from around the sides.

[Q.] As opposed for eg: a mascarilla which will collect nothing ? as one, constantly removes, adjusts & replaces (with one´s fingers) nose & mouth & breathe it in. We´re safe?

I know what you're saying V but when somebody is standing near you coughing etc I'd feel far safer if they were wearing a close fitting surgical mask rather than a wide open visor ....🙄

Me too. Or a kleenex. (Disposed & safely discarded. ( & of course, wash those hands! ) V

The sensible thing to do would be to go back to the doctor who gave you the exemption from wearing a mask and ask them if they feel that travelling against FCO advice with a serious lung condition, almost certainly without insurance, would be a good idea. If they think this is OK, ask them for a fit to fly note.

A certificate from a doctor in the uk is no good for the the Spanish police, they can’t check on the spot if it’s genuine or bogus like some euro notes, you would have to get authorisation from a qualified Spanish doctor, a face mask with valve is much safer than any visor.

I don’t think it is! But it’s a lot better at containing fluid being expressed by mouth than a visor!

"We're all saved", said a doctor, a virologist & a politician.  Now let's concentrate on protecting one's selves & others, whilst others become more complacent. V
