I think the Spanish government and local authorities have got better things to worry about than you getting your residency or overstaying illegally.

Fair enough, but the original post pointed out a problem for many of us and what could be the long term consequences, but if I was stopped and asked by the local authorities, police force, Guardia Civil or the National police, I would not like to reply your answer, thanks for your input.

Common sense will prevail, can you leave Spain by air sea or driving I think the answer at the moment is no, your on lock down I think you’d be in more trouble now if you didn’t abide by this lock down remember this virus is life threatening, getting your residency isn’t I’m sure there are a lot in the same circumstances and you all will be fine. Remember you have a reason not an excuse.

When people are genuinely panicking do some members or people in general have to start nit picking can't we all try to support each other, we're all in the same boat with varying worries. All very relevant to the people concerned. I'm still in england but will support anyone in any country if at all possible. Monica.
