Hi guys

I have just been reading that Gibraltar is on the green list and that means no quarentine is required. This has made me curious.

How come people who want to holiday in Spain don't just fly there and travel into Spain? Or is it just that not easy or possible?

Perhaps because there is border control between Gibraltar and Spain.

I'd have thought that most people would know that as Gibraltar is UK territory.

That doesnt mean that they cant cross the border or know that there is border control. And it would be alot less agro than filling in locator forms and all the other tests that need to be done

Thanks Martyn1986, I didn´t know I´d gone?

The reason I posted it was in reference to the ongoing discussions on forums & in recent media reports regarding the frontier & border Gibraltar disputes.

Someone asked about you awhile back because you had been quiet and someone replied saying you had moved to jims guides. Anyways the borders of Gibraltar would surely be easier than all the travel requirements that are stopping people leaving the UK or atleast going there for a holiday would be an idea. I have have friends down there and they were saying that they never get stopped at the border and its rare that anyone ever does (maybe because of covid i don't know), same as crossing country borders we've travelled across 3 European borders and werent stopped but thats a different story

It would also be illegal with heavy fines or imprisonment if you did not tell the UK that you were in Spain
