Hi everyone. Hoping for some advice here please. My husband and me are considering a move to Spain maybe next year. We have lived in Spain 10 years ago and worked in Gibraltar.

We both have state pension and I receive the enhanced rate of PIP..my question is would I still be able to keep my PIP. I know rules did change some years back saying this was transferable. It was only titled DLA then and I remember reading lots of people had it stopped unlawfully!?

Any help would be appreciated

You won't get the mobility part of it but the rest is transferable.

Hi thank you..I have looked on the gov website before but seem to get the same answer.

Only can be out the country for 13 weeks and must let them know which isn't a problem but it's not clear on permanent move. I'll have another look and thanks once again

Hi, I too get PIP at the highest rate but no state pension, I move to Spain in august and have been told PIP is transferable if paid at the highest rate but no mobility part. Hope this helps, I was told this just before lockdown. Monica.
