Does anyone know of a vaccination clinic in Benidorm that will provide vaccinations for overseas travel beyond Europe (the usual typhoid, Hep A, tetanus)? I don't need Hep B/C or Yellow Fever or Malaria for the city areas I am targetting and I'm happy to pay for these privately. I'm thinking of a trip to the Far East in February, but my medical centre in the UK wants at least 2 month's notice to even consider any vaccination requests! I understand why, as some vaccinations require two doses a few weeks apart, but I don't require vaccainations/boosters that require that kind of time span.

I'm currently living in Benidorm (Levante) but I've heard horror stories about the weather here in February (wind and cold) so I thought I might disappear during that month.

Incidentally, I felt cold throughout the day yesterday, 7thDec, with that SW wind. Today, the wind was from the N and it was very pleasant on Levante. This afternoon, 8th, I went to Calpe on the tram where it was noticeably cooler and a stronger wind.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Sean

I suggest you make an appointment with a GP in one of the Private facilities in Benidorm. They will more than likely issue you with a prescription to be taken to a pharmacy. You will have to return to the private clinic/ hospital to have the vacinations administered (unless they can be taken orally) and this may require a further appointment.

Here are links to a couple of private hospitals where private GPs are based.
