Wayne not when their is a Y in the day old Spanish custom otherwise the smell will be Horrendous.

I wear slippers at home. No special custom. Just means the floors need cleaned less often,
I live in a duplex apartment.
One new custom I have is only using the spiral staircase wearing sturdy boots, armoured jacket and a full face motorcycle hat.
2 months ago my slipper, slipped at the top of the stairs. I hit every step and bounced off the rails on the way down. Only missed hitting the concrete floor when my leg became trapped in the guard rail leaving me hanging upside down by my foot. Feking Ouchio!

Wayne. You can wear the pink slippers whenever! Don´t put your base-ball cap back-to front. Please, Mum will tell you!
