Thanks everyone.

I've taken on board everything that's been said.

I am determined to have the video doorbell and the CCTV in order to protect my pensioner Mum when she is home alone, we have an appointment with our Spanish Solicitor next Thursday, so I will pass it all to her to deal with to ensure we aren't breaking any laws.

Thanks again

Lee

Yes I think that's the one I want Andrew, just saves on replacing batteries all the time.

I don't suppose you have a link to the one you have on eBay?

Awesome.

I've saved it to my watch list and "made an offer"

Thanks Andrew

@Wilmin6 - I think your comment is not quite accurate and could be deemed misleading. If photographs in a public space was deemed illegal then every tourist would end up inside!

As with rules in the UK, which I take it you are aware of?! (equally as strict) similar rules are in place in Spain. What I will accept as being different is the inconsistent view the Guardia Civil will take to such photography.

In simple terms, every tourist could be locked up or fined as I would estimate 99.9% of folk visiting take a photo in a public place!
