Hi there,

Me and my partner also her family (4) are thinking about moving to Benissa or surrounding areas. The main bill payer is a mechanic and he is actively seeking work with a new lifestyle out in Spain.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a garage that can offer any long term work?

Minimum offer accepted per month is 1800€ thinking of living costs I.e rent which seems to be 850€+ for suitable housing, me and my partner also seeking work in warehouse, stores, restaurants or pubs also.

*No Spanish language at current time*

Any info mainly on a mechanic role suitable is greatly appreciated.

Regards

Arkadi

To be able to live here in Spain you will need to apply for residency at the Spanish embassy while you are still living in the UK.

You will need to apply for a Visa.

You will need to be able to meet the income and healthcare requirements.

The income requirements are that the first person has an income of €27,115.20 per annum plus €6,778.80 for each additional member of the family.

You will all need full private healthcare cover paid for a full year.

There will be other documentation that will be needed and translated into Spanish.

Now that the UK is out of the EU any jobs that become available must firstly be offered to an EU citizen. Spain has one of the highest unemployment rates within the EU. Any vacancies would easily be filled locally.

May sound a bit negative but that's how it is now since Brexit.
