Hi we have just arrived to our place in Benitachell after 20 months and need to get a lot stuff washed as has damp smell. We have an old washing machine on its last legs and takes forever. Can anyone tell me closest laundromat? Many thanks, Brenda

I am unaware of any laundromat here but there is a recently opened Lavanderia in Calle del Pozo, near the traffic lights where Marques Mobles and Garcia Mobles stand. It took over the old store from the Ferreteria when he moved up the main street.

Thank you for responding. What is this and not sure where you mean as we don't know area well due to not being able to get over after our purchase and Covid. Thanks again

Well, I admit not to have used it, and I am unsure where you are. You will I hope know of the Bull and Bear pub and hotel, opposite Masymas supermarket ,on the road out of town towards Javea/Xabia. Calle Pozo runs up the hill from the lights at the junction, and the Laundry can be seen opposite to hotel's gates. It does not appear to open every day though. Do you have a map of the village? If not, call into the tourist office near the town hall.

Oh dear that's a shame, but thanks for the info. Guess we'll have to take a trip to Euronics down the road and get a new washing machine. Thanks for your help. On another note we need to find someone to cut back a bush that is at back of our property and far too large to undertake. Can you recommend anyone that could do this? Thanks again! Brenda
