Well that's that then !

The Police say he 'might' have committed a ' minor 'offence .

I thought it the role of the Police to properly investigate possible breaches of the Law ? , not to sit on the fence, In this case though, they are happy to leave it at a 'might' ,which then conveniently allows Downing Street to gleefully state the matter has been dealt with by the Police and Downing Street therefore considers the matter closed

Priti Patel. Nice Work . 😏

The police have a duty to act when it is in the public interest, but that is decided by the department of public prosecutions which is a civil servant department run by the government.

You get one vote every 5 years and that’s the end of your say. The whole story is media fodder and a distraction.

Would you consider there is any difference in Tony Blair’s government standards and Boris Johnsons?

A professional dissection of Cummings statement, did anybody really believe it was in his own words?

Jeff, you have hit the nail on the head, even the Shadow Attorney General says Cummings broke the law and should be facing prosecution. He also stated Boris Johnson constitutionally should not have given opinion on a matter that was being dealt with by The Police.

All I can say is Cummings better stay absolutely squeaky clean in every single thing he does in future or things will come down on him like a Ton of  bricks.

I wouldn't like to have that possibility hanging over me. I hope he has plenty of restless nights to come.

"even the Shadow Attorney General says Cummings broke the law" - now there's a surprise :)

If the police haven't done anything about this there isn't much going on.
