HE TOLD ME IT WAS SO EASY HE JUST HAD TO PAY £8 ONLY AND WITHIN ONE WEEK HE HAD HIS NIE. PERHAPS YOU COULD RING THEM AND FIND OUT. GOOD LUCK

Hi blues, I also did my NIE in the UK at the Spanish Consulate in Manchester, a lot easier and quicker than trying to do it in Spain and didn't cost that much either. You can download the necessary forms from the Consulate websites.
