Can anybody recommend a company who will complete our non-resident tax for a reasonable fee or is it easier to do this ourselves? Our solicitor usually does ours but their prices have now gone up so looking for an alternative.

I do not know what a reasonable fee is to you, but I found a company online called iberiantax, they speak english, and they charged me 34,95 € and it was quick and easy done. In my opinion that is a reasonable fee. I tried to fill in the information myself, but it became too complicated in the end section of the form. They are very forthcoming and available at iberiantax.com and the company has very good rewievs.
I do not remember when we have to send it in, do you? I understand there is a difference between when residents and non-residents have to deliver and pay. I am a non-resident for now at least.

As a non-resident, your Modelo 210 tax return needs to be submitted and tax due paid, by 31 December each year.

Thank you very much, Kim, plenty of time left.
I am looking forward to arriving in Spain on the 16th and end the winter here in Norway, listening to the ocean instead of traffic and quarrelling neighbours.
