Hi I know someone posted about Non -resident taxes before, but its not on the forum anymore, or I can't find it.

How do you find the Cadastral Value of your property for Non resident taxes. Does this value change at any time?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks, but when I filled out the infomation, it couldn't give me any information.

Does the Cadastral value increase at any time from when the property was purchased?

The cadastral value is determinded every now and then arbitrarily by each council depending on its financial needs. The value is shown on your annual ground tax bill. For revenue purpose the cadastral value ist not longer taken into consideration, but according to recent regulation, what matters is the so called "valor de referencia" (reference value) which is published and available online here  https://www1.sedecatastro.gob.es/Accesos/SECAccvr.aspx

Hi I have found out for Non resident taxes you need the Valor Cat/ Base Imponible value from your Suma Tax bill.

(A) Assume 30,000 for example.

(B)Then apply a multiplier of 2.0% .  30,000 X 2% = 600,  2% is the multiplier for UK Non residents. For EU Non residents the multiplier is 1.1%.   (Brexit no doubt)

(C)Taxable benefit   A x B = C = 600

(D)Tax Payable = (C) 600  x 24%  = 144€ gives you the tax payable.

Hope that helps others.
