Non residents tax
Hello
Could anyone advise me how much non residents tax i should pay on my property and how often this is to be paid. Thank you
This has been covered extensively on the Forum, the most useful contribution being Jim Taylor's Guide, see attached link.
The Tax is based on the Castral Value of your property and is paid before the end of December for the previous year. So in December 2019 you are paying your Non Resident Tax for 2018.

As a newish member you're excused, but the topic has been extensively covered on the forum.
To work out the tax due, it's 19% of 1.1% of the catastral value, which appears on your IBI bill. Post-Brexit, the 19% will be 24.75%.

Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles, i.e. property tax, i.e. council tax.
