Hi. My family are holidaying in Calp this August for my Grandfathers 80th birthday. I’ve been tasked trying to hire a beer cooler and pump and purchase a barrel for use in our villa. Can anyone help me with where to hire this from and if it’s possible to purchase a barrel of beer (not lager). It really would make his holiday if I could organise this. Many thanks.
Have a word with your local friendly bar, if they cant do it for you, they might know someone who can..

Hi, If you buy a barrel of beer from the Beer/Drinks warehouse (Ryfull) opposite JYSK furniture shop in town, they will organise a pump, gas etc and they also set it up.

There are two good cake shops in Calpe. One is Peter Pan and the other is Flandes. They usually have cakes on display and will put Happy Birthday on them. You could probably order one in advance if you want something special. The cakes are normally sponge, not fruit cake. There is a specialist cake maker but not in Calpe but I would have to investigate that further. If you have trouble finding these, let me know and I'll try to help.
