I currently live in Pinoso, been here 20 years. I love it here but feel the need to change. I'm a widow,I  have enough  Spanish language to get by. . I want a town with a traditional feel and it would be nice to know if there are any groups about to meet and make friends. I am a sociable person but being on my own makes it difficult  to integrate sometimes  . I enjoy walking and I like arts and crafts. Just wondering if there us a friendly community  there.

Fortuna is not too far away and we enjoy here a very nice multicultural and multilingual expat community.

Thank you, yes I have been to Fortuna to the hot baths. I fancied going a bit further inland though. But thank you for taking time to respond

I used to live in Caudete and I know both Pinoso and Castalla. Btw Castalla and Pinoso are both equidistant from the coast. I here good things about the Brit community in the Jalón valley. Fortuna is nice and there are some lovely properties there. Personally I wouldn't leave Pinoso to live in Castalla. As a wise person said to me once "remember wherever you go you take yourself". Good luck in your search.

Cheers, J
