You will not have to drain your pool. First thing to do s put in anti-algae and after about 24 hours it will float to the surface of the pool. Check the chlorine and ph levels, adjust as necessary. If the water is cloudy use a clarifier. Once the pool is clear and back to normal, keep it maintained by brushing the tiles regularly and vacuuming. Hope this helps
