We are in the process of buying a new property which we intend to go off grid with looking for some examples of electricity useage for a 4 bed with ac and heating. Either daily weekly monthly or yearly figures will help. Its being used as a comparrison

Three of us live in the house. And we need about 20 kWh a day in winter (heating with AC and some wood). In summer it doesn't matter because the yield from photovoltaics is much higher.

Recently we had a visit from a friend. She needed up to 30kWh a day for herself because she likes to shower and wants it very warm.

So it is very difficult to make statements about consumption. The only thing that helps is to look at your own circumstances and take measurements.

The array itself isnt the problem. The problem im having is the battery packs on sizing and ensuring i have a couple of days backup. Generators are ok but thrusty

We have about 25kWh of usable battery capacity. That's enough for one or two bad days. The load is between 0.1kW (night) and 8kW (peak). 

Our friend was able to empty the battery in one night...
