"bikes aren't allowed at the moment"

Where is that written please, not seen or heard of it anywhere else?

I think bicycles are not to be used for recreational purposes but fairly certain ok for trips to the permitted outlets.

On Sunday (As I previously reported) A gent (wearing his lycra shorts riding his sports-bike) received a multa from the police. He told them he was out to fetch bread (only 14km from home!)

He rode off home (without bread, only a fine!).

On the other hand a local chap in the campo rides his sit-up type bike with a crate on the rear, every day. I think he will be exempt. He did´nt get stopped yesterday. There´s your difference.common sense.

If your the driver and she is the shopper just stay in the car when you get there and she goes in, you have to think about these things, it's not going to increase anyone's chances of contact and that's what it's all about.

but.....

"People travelling for work-related reasons will need special certificates confirming the necessity of their visit, with a maximum of two people allowed per car in such situations, according to Levante.

In all other situations, the Guardia Civil will demand drivers ride alone."
Hope helps Kush. Hope´s well.

The reason for my interest is that while I do have a car, two in fact, most of the time I do the shopping on my scooter (ease of parking), so the use of the generic 'bike' is open to interpretation.

I don't wear Lycra!
