I have emailed a number of people asking about changing my classic car to H plates (historic) and I have not received any reply from the companies, the car has been registered in Spain since 1984, but I want to put it on the H plate due to the emissions, can anyone help point me in the right direction to get this done I even wrote to DGT but again no reply.

Hi John,
perhaps you could try looking on google for a classic car club or a car club for you make/model of car. It is likely that a few members of these clubs will have gone through the process of putting their car onto classic plates.
There is a Classic car club in Torrevieja.
