Hi.
The N.S.H charges up during the night, and releases the heat from morning.
Setting it at 23 degrees means it only releases heat when your room temp drops below that?
Heater manufacturer recommends setting it to a constant temp of 21 deg,but that was too cold.
Of late,we have had to use the air con as well as the storage Heater?
Air con keeps us warmer, but problems with my husbands chest, means we can't use it too often?
Personally,we wouldn't recommend a Night Storage Heater, having said that, our Casa is only made of breeze block, and room is open plan, with heavy duty curtains covering the staircase.
The company said as long as the curtains stay closed,it will be fine, but we aren't too enamoured with it,and it was €900.
Our first choice would be air con,if it wasn't for my husbands bad chest.
Hope this helps.
Robbie.
