It’s costing me the wrong side of £500 in tests for 4 

All i want is the ref so I can get back into the uk 

Once home it’s irrelevant to me how they perform 

Again  pockets being ripped into into by the uk

Just to add being double jabbed it’ costs nothing for me to enter Spain

         it is absolutely up to the buyer, I am just pointing out that some companies do not get great reviews and do not in some cases even provide the test results. I would rather spend a bit more and at least get tested. 

 Good luck with your return, is it still 2 and 8 tests required for Scotland or has NS relented and followed the lead from England?

Of course people will have different criteria ,I pointed out I would not pay money out for tests if I could get back to UK without them .Regarding my situation  ,I have read that France is to come of the Amber + list at the next travel review ,but it has also been muted that there is a possibility that Spain and Greece could go the other way ,if all that is supposed to happen occurs there will be no difference to me it will be day 2 & day 8 tests and the 10 day quarantine, we are 2 weeks tomorrow to the ferry and nothing is certain ,only thing I have done is book  2 antigen tests in Barcelona on Sunday 8 August, 18-30 ,that will keep us within 72 hours of return to UK

Just an update to this. Announced today that if you are double jabbed, either UK or EU, excluding France, you can travel to UK without quarantine. I think you still have to do day 2 test, but all could still change at any time. Especially if Spain find itself on the amber plus list.

Wales, Scotland  and now NI have followed England’s lead with just a PCR test required on Day 2  as long as you have a U.K. COVID certificate. No need to isolate

Rules change from 4 am Monday 2 August to accept the EU/USA certificate but as I write this it’s not been finalised as yet as to whether it’s for the whole U.K.  and what tests will be required.

Answered all questions by email  very quickly couldn’t be more helpful  ordered kits yesterday. Codes for locator form by return email and kits with clear instructions arrived today and free postage to deliver and return

If your flying in to Gatwick use Cignpost Diagnostics its £ 60 each you can book in advance and they are great we have used them all the way through you can book in advance South Terminal Drive tru. Home kits not acceptable for these tests. Have to be through a medical / - group !
