Euronics

Eur Welcome ! 😀

Joking apart, Lesley, Yes, although not having bought from them personally, Euronics do seem to have given good service to many Forum Members , and well worth adding to the list.

Furniture does seem to be quite expensive in Spain, we bought quite a lot second hand, there are quite a few shops/auction houses about.  We have also just bought a new sofa from DFS in the UK and it is being delivered to Spain for the same price as delivery to a UK address.

The chinese bazaars can be good for towels, cushions, etc but most things with any moving parts seem to fall apart very quickly!

Look on this forum too, there are often goods for sale.

Good Luck with your new home

Julie

Primark in Zenia Boulevard is very cheap for bedding.  Milars in Punta Prima for electrical goods, JYSK in Punta Prima for modern furniture, both are in the Punta Marina Centre where McDonalds is.  Stylehouse on the N332 in Punta Prima.

There are also lots of charity shops with great items.  Little Pod have furniture shop in La Zenia, close to the Boulevard.

Have fun on your spending spree!

I have used them. Often (in my town) quite small, but happy to order & message one, when in. I only tried it 'cause I thought Annie Lenox worked there! I'm often 😖 confused.  V

Hi, if you're going to Ikea for bigger stuff, you can also buy a lot of the smaller stuff too. We bought all of our dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, clothes airer, mirrors, storage units, buckets, rubbish bins, brushes and so much more in the one trip. Primark in La Zenia shopping centre is great for bedding, towels, tea towels etc and there's a supermarket on the ground floor that sells all the small electrical stuff, also a store on the top floor that's worth a look. It's all very exciting and great to see it coming together. The Chinese shops are great for lots of stuff and there's usually household stuff to be bought in the local markets.

Hi

If you are looking for stuff from Ikea we found https://www.flatpaxabia.com excellent. We shopped in the UK and sent them our list. They then got everything in Spain and delivered on a day that suited us and assembled anything that needed assembled. We got everything from a sofa to plates, cutlery and picture frames. Service was first class.
All the best in your new venture!

Fiona

Hi when we kitted our place out we went to Hermanos Garcia in Torrevieja. They have a big show room, helpful staff who speak English and most importantly everything arrived on time was delivered assembled and everything cleaned up and taken away afterwards. They do furniture and electrical stuff. They even took away and refunded us for a cooker hood when we unexpectedly found we already had one! Couldn’t recommend them more highly.
