We are fully aware of the 90 in 180 day rules and changes from January, however I did read somewhere some time ago that because of the impact on the tourist economy the major impact being the "swallows tourists" who start to arrive from October and stay until March that the Spanish tourist industry were asking the Spanish government to look at this to see if some agreement could be made to allow people to stay without breaking laws, maybe paying for some visa. This all seems to have gone off topic, just wondering if anyone has any information. I've looked at different visas but none seem to apply just for extended holiday periods.

Good morning treasure

I’ve not heard of that and there’s certainly been lots of chat on the forum about the 90/180 rules

I wish it were so. I think lots of “possibles” have probably been overtaken by COVID

If you do unearth any further information, please post in the forum 🤪🥂

Hi Bibba

I understand what you’re saying, I think 😄. I’d read treasures post as meaning ongoing, year on year, rather than a “technical loophole” for 2020/2021

If I’ve misunderstood, please advise 🤪🥂

Yes , I did mean year on year , this 2020/2921 won't be a great problem but thereafter it will be.
