Alicante airport to denia
We are arriving in alicante next month on our way to Denia is a train an option and how long does it take?
I take it you mean Alicante airport. There is no train service from the airport. You would need to get the bus to Alicante city and then a train from there. Over 3 hours according to the train site. There are no direct buses to Denia
There is tram from Alicante which goes the scenic route and takes about 90 minutes via Benidorm through Altea, Calpe and other towns and terminates at Denia.
Beniconnect runs a shuttle if you look at their website and looks like 116 euro for two return (29euro pp each way) Another one, welcome pickups, says about 100 euro single.
Obviously hiring a car would be better as it would cost about the same for a week's car hire as the shuttles charge (less the tram) and much quicker.

As said before if speed is required taxi is way to go.
Usually about €75 +34 620666661
If not, the tram takes a very scenic route..

Beniconnect also provides airport shuttles which may work out cheaper than a taxi but a little slower:

The tram/train is a great way to get to denia but does take a while but well worth it for the views alone....the bus is a good option its on level _2 at the airport, with the kiosk for tickets just opposite arrivals and next to the coffee shop.
Hope this helps and you enjoy Denia.

Most companies do and it is not just in Spain. However, if you have concerns with any company raise it with them.
