... in addition it would mess the driving hours to get to Calais and get into the Le Shuttle on time. So we decided to cancel the latter, and go by Ferry from Santander.
Hi Maria. can I just ask. do you have dogs I tried to book a ferry up to the 10th from Santander to U.K. but thy had nothing! so we headed for the Cherbourg ferry , we then had to go on the 6th from Calais through tunnel awful drive. Rules had changed too halfway up, now if not in U.K. by 4 am on the Tuesday ,ship docking at at 6am! we then needed a lateral flow and No one would certify for us ! So we had to dash for the tunnel so as to get in before 4am Tuesday last. Surely, If you have your lateral flow 24hours, that’s done and resulted in Spain ? getting into France within the 24. Then your day 2 tests just have to be booked and paid for for your PLF forms. We crossed the French border from Spain at San Sebastián and no one checked anything. I had my Declaration of honour hand written lol.
