We are hoping to move to Denia to live this late Summer Covid19 permitting.  We would like to bring our car with us ( A left Hand Drive ). Are there Import taxes etc. Thank you any facts appreciated.

Yes.

The tax depends on the age/value/pollution rating of the car.

Additionally, there are costs to matriculate and ITV the car.

Not sure which way you headlights point - you might need to change them (and the rear fog-light)

If you car is one that was routinely sold in Europe, there will be no problem with the import process. But if you have something unusual (e.g. a North American model) there can be additional costs.

I agree with Cheryl. Even if you don't use them, there is loads of useful information on Graham and Leigh's Spanish Number Plates website.

If you move before the end of the Brexit transition period, and do the transfer promptly, there won't be any import tax to pay.
