How can I charge my electric car in Dénia

Hi everyone,

I arrived last sunday in Dénia and been having trouble finding a station to charge my electric car. I have been to the Iberdrola stations but for charging I need to register and it looks like I need to have a Spanish taxnumber or a Iberdrola plan. I went to the Iberdrola office but they kind of told me the same. That I need to be a contract holder, which I obviously not am because I am only here for 7 weeks.

Is there anyone who knows how I can charge my electric car as a non-citizen/tourist?

How utterly ridiculous that you can't charge a car with nothing more than a credit or debit card!

If they want to promote electric cars this is not much of a way to go about it.

If you haven't already done so, Google 'electric car charge points in Denia', this will provide you with a plethora of other charging points foreby Iberdrola.

There are charging points on the first floor car park at Mercadona so you can combine some food shopping and charging. Map attached.

Most charger there are operated by Iberdrola. In "8 Carrer Mabra 03700" at Burger King is a (fast-)charger (from +B Energias Denia) that can be activated by "Electromaps" App. Maybe this works for you.
