Hi can anyone advise if the Amazon Fire Stick T.V. works abroad via WIFI?....or does it need a VPN ...or VPL etc?....

Hi, the Amazon part of the firestick will not work without a vpn. If you have kodi media platform installed then that part will work fine.

Hi,

I use a Amazon firestick on my TV in Spain. I use it to access my subscribed services Amazon Prime and Netflix. You need wifi to use it in this way but not a vpn.

If you install a VPN then you can access services like BBC iplayer and Netflix UK/USA/etc. There are apps you can install onto the firestick which give access to UK TV.

My personal experience of vpn is limited but the best I have used is ExpressVPN.
