Been trying to get a Digital Certificate from UK using my NIE so that i can register my summer guests on the Guardia Civil portal. Anyone konw how I can get a Digital cert? I have downloaded apps, software on my laptop but no luck

have downloaded AutoFirma on desktop, CLAVE on mobile and certificado Digital on app
To obtain the digital certificate you must have your identity verified.
This takes place at AEAT, INSS, etc offices.

I could be wrong here but i think you need to present your Licence and personal ID at the Guardia (Southern Costa Blanca) or the Policia Nacional (Denia area). They then issue a unique code for your property which allows access to the Webpol registration portal.
I've never heard of this being done online although maybe it's possible given that some landlords don't live in Spain.

If you are having trouble with you Digital Certificate you can instead use the older website for registrations still, the two systems are running concurrently until (as far as i have head) the end of this year. You can obtain your login codes here https://hospederias.guardiacivil.es/index_en.html#_alta
As you don't need your digital certificate for that website it will give you time to sort everything out but in the meantime you can still register guests.

i had this form and took it to local Guardia Civil with relevant IDs but was told everything was done online now, didnt have computer there so when i got back to UK tried registering and thats when the problems started!
I recently got my digital certificate at the Ajutamento Denia. There is a CLAVE office there.

was told might be able to do it online via video call but my spanish wasnt good enough :o(

I have tried multiple avenues including writing to consulate in London and Manchester but no luck, so where does that leave me with regards to registering guests !!

You will probably have to pay a visit to your Ayuntamiento if they are issuing the Certs or the one I would recommend is SUMA. Make an appointment at your nearest SUMA office and in that way you won't have to Q. I would think you will need a trip to Spain to acquire a digital cert/Cl@ve as a non-resident. You could also ring SUMA on their English speaking line or use their Chat Service and ask if you can acquire one without coming to Spain. https://www.suma.es/?idioma=en
