Fires are an issue, which is why the country have so many laws regarding when you can build bonfires., have barbecues etc. It’s the extreme heat that causes the problem not some crazy arsonist. Near the salt lakes a couple of months back there was a tremendous fire, which took a few hours to get under control. They were allegedly started by a discarded barbecue. In any hot country fires are always a potential hazard, the ground and dry vegetation can go up in an instant. During the heatwave last weekend CV passed laws to make it illegal to walk or cycle through many country parks as any small spark could have set the area alight. It happens all across the world, Greece had horrendous fires just last week, California suffer with fires every summer and just look at the dreadful bush fires they had in Australia last year. Even happens in the U.K. after a couple of hot days how many moorlands have you seen engulfed by smoke and flames.
Current Covid restrictions are in place until after the Fallas on 6 September, we wear masks indoors, on public transport and in crowded places . Oh and our vaccination rate is higher than that of the U.K.
I just wonder where you have come across this information about crime, terrorism, not sure what you mean about pets?
The only thing you don’t appear worried about are the earthquakes we have !
