Really?

Since February '21 I've had 2 main jabs and received my 2nd booster 24hrs before I flew out to Alicante.

Having had 4 altogether has given me the freedom to fly out here and I'm still alive.  It's certainly proof positive that Covid -19 vaccines are beneficial!

Apologies, Malc123 - my reply was to Pip0. I, mistakenly, pressed "Reply" to the wrong contributor. 😱

Why would you want a booster, it’s been proven that it’s a mild case now and the vaccines have a dubious history to say the least

Never really believed in the Covid hysteria that gripped the globe these last two years, but,I avail myself of the flu jab and the Covid, just had the latest ones in Northern Ireland prior to travelling back to Spain. The annual flu jab for the last decade or so has seen me free of any discomfort and as I have not had any signs of Covid from day one and have had all the jabs as they become available I am of the opinion that they are well worth having, even more so for those who are " getting on" and cannot be bothered with all the pie in the sky conspiracy theories.

Hi,

I don't know if Spain has announced a autumn booster program yet or even if they will decide to have one.

You will be able to get a booster when you go back to the UK, assuming you are on the maximum 90 day visit rule?  I will have to have mine in November as we are in Spain from next week until end of October.

Ignore the posts from the doubters, the vaccines are safe and effective.

Aitch.

You are talking absolute rubbish. No vaccine is safe and effective. I suggest you watch this documentary to see the damage this so called vaccine has caused.

Hi Bob G, thank you very much for your considered comments. By all means believe the dross you post if you wish but I along with the vast majority will continue taking the covid vaccine, safely and effectively.

Rgds,

Aitch.

Look on Facebook  "they died suddenly"and ask yourself do you really need a booster. As far as I'm aware you can travel with just a PCR or other such test. On the Facebook page there are over 100, 000 accounts of people dying suddenly.

I think the vaccines have had their day, they don't stop you getting covid and from spreading it....

...

It's your choice.

Stupid reply, you must be about 12,  You should have been around with Spanish flu,😴😴😴

It's all down to the marvels of science that we can overcome diseases which once eradicated huge swathes of the world's population. Thankfully, we're not living in the 19th Century, though I sometimes think that these conspiracy theorists wish we were!

This time the UK will be using the Moderna vaccine specifically designed against the two most common variants of Covid.

Modern is not always used for the booster. My daughter in law had Moderna on Saturday. I had Pfizer next day in same clinic. The clinic said they do not know what they have for use till the day of use. Chris

I had my booster today it was a Moderna. Touch wood I've never had covid but maybe because I had an AstraZenica in U.K. March 21 but because they said next one would not be until June 21 I came back to Spain and there they offered me a Pfizer in May21 and second Pfizer in June21. I returned to UK after Christmas 21 and was offered my second AstraZenica. I asked my doctor was it ok to mix vaccines and he said each has different strengths and that they will become a regular event like flu jab. So he was even happy to give me a Pfizer booster in March22. When I returned to Spain I had a booster Pfizer in June22. So I've had 7 jabs since the start of covid pandemic maybe the 8th will happen when I return to Spain after new year. So you can see I stick a finger up to all the vaccine deniers lol

Interesting. I have had all Pfizer and got Covid v mildly in June 22 after using cross channel ferry. My wife who travelled with me did not get it. She had 2 AZ jabs initially and 3rd was Pfizer. By the way don't blame ferry journey for getting Covid but was positive about 5 days after the journey which included 2 overnight hotel stops.
