Sorry  but why should she do a test ,she has had both vaccinations, it was someone's error ,that omitted her 2nd vaccination  .I thought in England you could download your vaccination status to your phone ,surely there has to be a number to contact to get this righted

I've just spent half the afternoon at the vaccination centre who did my jabs and whoever entered my info made a mistake, so as a result I only had one jab showing in my App.  They have very kindly corrected and updated my details, however, they have no idea when it will appear in the App.  They say it could be 15 minutes or 3 days.  So far nothing, I will keep checking.  Maybe some kind soul will take pity on me at the airport if I explain my plight, or maybe the App will have updated itself by the time I travel tomorrow?

Thanks for everyone's input, I will keep you updated.

BTW the cat is now eating some food after her visit to the Vets where she had an anti sickness injection.  Lets hope she doesn't throw it all up again.

I am just back from Alicante airport. Flying from Ryan air out of Manchester and return to Manchester .  On the passenger locator form you put in your dates of your jabs  and it confirms for you.  No one checked the nhs COVID document flying out but it was checked on the return journey.  Hope this helps

Hi Hevs, that's very useful to know as by the time I return my App should be up to date.   I was just worried whether they checked it on the way out.

Hi Scots Lass,

Sorry to hear of your plight - especially as it's happened on the weekend.  While it is annoying for you that your vaccination record isn't up to date, Sue's advice, to obtain a negative test result, does seem to be the most sensible way forward.  This extract from Gov.UK says that your...

... vaccination appointment card cannot be used as proof of vaccination, but that a negative Covid-19 test is acceptable as an alternative:

Testing and vaccination requirements for arrivals from the UK

The Spanish government requires all arrivals to Spain from the UK (excluding children under the age of 12 years old) to present on entry one of the following:

documentation certifying that you have undertaken a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT - e.g. PCR, TMA, LAMP or NEAR) within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain and tested negative. Antigen tests can only be used in certain limited circumstances (as outlined in section ‘k’ of the ‘Entry requirements for entry in Spain from third countries’ on the Spanish Ministry of Health ‘Travel and COVID-19’ page) and are not accepted if you are travelling from the UK to Spain for tourism purposes (see Reason for travel to Spain below for further information).

proof of being fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain (date(s) of vaccination must be specified), with a vaccine authorised by the European Medicines Agency or by the World Health Organisation. Spain will accept the UK’s solutions to demonstrate your COVID vaccination status. Your NHS appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status.

Good luck!

Kind regards,

Kim

Hello Kim

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure.

Sue 😘

We came out on Friday and they just scanned the QR code and didn’t ask to see the Covid vaccination (app or paper copy). Not sure if that’s all the time but that’s what happened yesterday

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE - I HAVE MY UPDATED FULLY VACCINATED RECORD.

So I might not need it, according to some of the comments above, however, I am feeling so much happier (feeling tearful in fact) that all my paperwork is as required and I can relax now and enjoy my holiday.

Still got the return paperwork to complete and Antigen etc to organise for the return though, but with all the info I have picked up on this site, I know exactly where to go for my test in El Campello and what paperwork I need to complete for the return journey.

Thanks everyone xx

Hi, on some systems you have to flick the dot on the page and your second one will come up. You could also download the entries if you are registered with a gp that does on line appt s,you could also ring 119 and ask them to send it to you,it does take 5 to 7 days and you can have it in Spanish and English, this possibly won't help you at present but you will have a record for any other trips you have planned,it will be a jobs worth if they do not accept your little blue card. Best of luck
