Seems that all Banks in Spain could do with a bit of UK Customer Service training. We asked on forum about 6 months ago '''could anyone recommend a good Euro Spanish Bank''. Replies were generally so so negative that on advice from a friend, we opted to open a Wise on-line Account......never looked back... great. AND.. if your utilities etc refuse to accept a Wise DD, report them for IBAN DISCRIMINATION. (see on-line)
Looking forward to closing our Santander account for good.

Well at last Sabadell we think is sorted , only company that won’t accept direct debit outside of spain is vega fibre

Lots of hidden charges with Sabadell, make sure every month you put in 700euros or its a 40euro fine
