Helen, loads of AC guys about...and most will come next day...i used R&R services 662 088 965 and they came same day...also Building Maintenace 672 153 190 and they came next day...can recomend both...

Thanks for the information.
In the end we were put in touch with Fernando of Gran Clima. He came out within 48 hrs, silenced the alarm, identified the fault and ordered a spare part which was fitted a few days later.
Really decent chap, not sure if we paid over the odds but needs must and we were desperate.
