Hi all, I am arriving at Valencia airport on the first Saturday in July for a month in Playa Gandia.                                             Whilst looking at our train options it mentions 25 trains a day but there only seems to be one on that Saturday which is too early for us.                                                   I wondered does anyone maybe understand the time table better than me and are there more train options or maybe would a bus be better or as a last resort a taxi.

There are occasional trains to Playa de Gandia, but it'll be easier if you get the Cercanias train from Valencia to Gandia (2 an hour) and then one of the frequent buses from just outside the station to the Playa.

Agreed - just spent a week in Gandia and the C1 train is easiest. Take the metro to town and jump right into the C1 straight to Gandia town. (took us an hour). From there a 20 minutes bus to the playa area.

Busses only take cash, so have some euro coins if possible. Total trip time from airport was about 2 hours.

One more thing - we did have to wait in a pretty long line at the airport just to buy metro tickets….

Enjoy Gandia!
