Covid vaccine for registered (non resident) in Gandia

Hello All,

I am hoping someone maybe able to help with my question?

I am registered as living here in Gandia (Empadronado) but still awaiting my residency. It's been a year since I had my last covid vaccine and I have been told that I can apply for a temporary SIP card here, and this will allow me to get it?

I've also read online that the Valencia health care chief has stated that this is correct. I know it doesn't entitle me to additional health care ( I have my private insurance for that) but I would like to get my next vaccine without having to return to the UK to do it.

Can anybody tell me how to get one of the temporary SIP cards and where I need to go to get it?

Good morning, we went to our local Salud with Padron. TIE. proof of private healh cover, and Spanish phone number

We were given SIP cards for the vaccine and received text messages for the first vaccines.

A few weeks ago we called into Salud again to ask about the booster....we are in our 60s.

We were told to call back at end of this month for an appointment in December.

Hi,we went to our local medical centre,gave them our padron,EHIC card and she did not want our private health card but we took it anyway,if you are awaiting residencia your solicitor should give you prove of application which was accepted,(we applied for our 2 year renewal residency in July and still awaiting Alicante for new card).All was accepted. Medicare in Benijofar will give you a flu vaccination at a cost if you can't get approval for temporary sip and may help you with the COVID booster .
